EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a simple yet remarkable therapeutic tool that reduces the stress that contributes to a breakdown in emotional well being. It has proven itself successful in many scientific studies in dealing with addictions, anger, anxiety, acute stress disorder and PTSD, as well as a variety of health and performance issues-- even those that have been resistant to other methods. We are committed to maintaining strong codes of ethics and practice, and to establishing ourselves as the lead training provider of Emotional Freedom Techniques.

How to Become a Certified EFT Practitioner
You can learn about EFT or train to become a Practitioner or, ultimately, a Trainer through a variety of different channels. David Rourke & Associates in cooperation with AAMET, offers courses for those with a general interest in EFT right up to professional Practitioner or Trainer Certification level.
AAMET certifies it's Trainers to teach Emotional Freedom Techniques. AAMET Trainers have to follow a core syllabus and sign up to Codes of Conduct & Ethics, as well as Training Guidelines and professional development/mentoring. Students can be assured that they are receiving the highest level of training that will be recognized by major insurance companies (presently in U.K. only) and external providers.
To be listed on the AAMET website as a Practitioner in any meridian energy therapy AAMET expects members to have undertaken a minimum level of training and mentoring in line with all similar professional associations. For instance, EFT Practitioner members listed on this site will have trained with an AAMET approved Trainer and will be in possession of a Practitioner certificate. To retain their certificate, they will also have signed up to mandatory continuous personal/professional development as well as mentoring.
